Expenses such as costs, fees, government charges like stamp duty, and potential cost savings are not factored into the comparison rate but may affect the overall cost of the loan.

Example Loan: If you take out a $10,000 Loan for a term of 36 months with a fixed, unsecured interest rate of 6.99% p.a. (comparison rate of 7.78% p.a.), the total amount you would need to repay would be approximately $11,498. This sum includes the $10,000 principal and $1,498 in interest. The calculation does not include any establishment fee.
